How we look after every order
If you lose signal when deliveringThe delivery photo (or “Handed to the customer”) is saved on your phone and sent on its own when the signal is back. Don’t redo it.Bonus for taking an order others passed onIf three drivers decline or let an order expire, it’s offered to everyone at once with 1 dollar extra. Whoever delivers it gets it.Call the customer without seeing their number (or showing yours)On the way, tap “Call the customer (masked number)”: we call you and connect you with the customer. You both see Tumbite’s number. If a payout to your bank failsIf the bank rejects a deposit, we let you know in the app and by email, and the money stays in your Tumbite balance. Check your bank details under “Wallet” and withdraw again. Background check with Checkr and the identity check photoLike the big platforms: we check criminal records and driving history with a provider, and every so often we ask for a photo of your face before you go online. Two orders in one trip and the age checkIf you already have an order you haven’t picked up and another comes in from the same restaurant with a nearby delivery, we offer it to you for the same trip. Orders with 21+ items are handed over in person only, with an ID check. How we know you reached the door (and what to do if GPS fails)The deliver button appears once GPS confirms you’re at the address. If a building or garage throws it off, request the exception and support authorizes you.Photo at pickup, delivery at the doorEvery order leaves two photos: the closed order as it leaves the restaurant, confirmed by the restaurant, and the delivery at the door.An order from start to finishWhat happens from the moment the customer pays until the food reaches the door, who does what at each step, and how the money is split. The Manager: no order gets forgottenAn automatic watcher follows every order from payment to the door, and steps in only when something runs late. The traffic light on every orderGreen, yellow, or red: at a glance you know which order is fine and which one needs attention.Verified restaurants and driversEvery restaurant is a real business and every driver is who they say they are. A person on our team checks it.Tumbite compared with other delivery appsHow much each app keeps from the restaurant, what the customer pays, and what the driver gets. With public numbers, so everyone can decide.
