Launch team training

The reading list for everyone on the team that opens a city: what to read, in what order, and what they should be able to explain at the end.

How it works

At every cold launch, the local team delivers tablets to restaurants, trains drivers, and helps the first customers. To do it well, everyone needs to know the product the way a customer does. These guides are the material: each one explains a feature with real screenshots, in English and Spanish.

The assignment is to read the guides for their area, in order, and at the end be able to explain them in their own words to a restaurant, a driver, or a customer. Every guide has its own link: it can be sent in a message and opened on a phone.

Steps

  1. Whole team: “An order from start to finish,” “The Manager,” “The traffic light on every order,” and “Verified restaurants and drivers.”
  2. Restaurant visits: “Put your restaurant on Tumbite,” “Verify your restaurant,” “Your menu,” “Receiving orders and the alarm,” “Your dashboard,” “Gifts and marketing,” and “Daily summary and your wallet.”
  3. Driver training: “Start delivering,” “Verify your identity,” “Offers,” “Levels,” and “Your wallet.”
  4. Customer support: “How to place your first order,” “Track your order live,” “Cancel an order,” “My account,” and “Help from a real person.”
  5. To finish: walk another team member through a full order, phone in hand, and what happens if the restaurant doesn’t answer.
