Divoox Flex: each recipient’s exact location
Before the route leaves, every package has its exact delivery spot: the recipient confirms it with a WhatsApp link or their Divoox app, or you mark it with the pin.
How it works
A written address often isn’t enough to reach the door. That’s why every Divoox Flex shipment shows its location status: confirmed, waiting for the recipient, or written address only.
With “Ask the recipient for their location” we prepare a message with a link you can send on WhatsApp or copy. The recipient opens it, marks the exact delivery spot on the map and adds a landmark (“blue house across from the bakery”). No account needed. The link lasts 7 days and, while it lasts, it’s the same every time you ask.
If the recipient already uses the Divoox app with the same phone or email, the shipment shows up in “My packages”. If they marked their home in the app, the package arrives already located without you asking.
You can also mark the spot yourself with the pin on the map from the shipment detail.
Each country works its own way. In Venezuela the route can’t leave until every stop has a confirmed location, a landmark is required and you can save the recipient’s national ID. In the United States the written address is enough and the pin is optional.
The package label carries the landmark and the plus code of the exact spot: a short code Google Maps understands even offline.
For privacy, the link only shows who is sending the package and the address; never the phone or other details. Once the package leaves on the route, the location can no longer change.

Steps
- Open the shipment in “Shipments”.
- In “Delivery location”, tap “Ask the recipient for their location” and send the message on WhatsApp.
- When the recipient confirms, the status changes to “Confirmed”.
- Or tap “Mark the spot myself” and save the spot on the map.
