Your counter: see the driver coming, the QR code and the wait

On your screen you see who’s coming for each order, how many minutes away they are, when they arrived and how long they wait. Next to each ready order there’s a QR code so the driver confirms it’s theirs. If their photo waits more than 2 minutes, the alarm sounds.

How it works

When a driver accepts your order, the card shows their name and “arrives in X min.” When they’re 5 minutes away a short alert sounds; when they arrive, another.

If they arrive before the time you promised, the card says “is here · ready in X min” and that wait doesn’t count against you. If your ready time has passed, it says “is waiting · X min past your ready time”: that’s avoidable wait, as the other apps measure it, and we save it per order.

We don’t look for a driver the moment you accept: we call them so they arrive when the food is ready, based on the minutes you gave. If you finish early, tap “Ready!” and it goes out right away.

Next to each ready order there’s a large QR code and the 4-character number. The driver scans it from their app: that confirms they’re taking the right order. If they also photograph the bag, the order goes out without you touching anything.

If they didn’t scan, you see their photo with the green “Confirm: I handed it to the driver” button. If that photo waits more than 2 minutes, the card turns yellow and the alarm sounds: the driver is waiting on you.

Steps

  1. Accept with the real prep time: that’s how we call the driver at the right moment.
  2. When it’s ready, tap “Ready!” even if the driver hasn’t arrived.
  3. Show them the QR code on the screen; if they don’t scan, look at their photo and tap “Confirm.”
